The primary goal of the Two Dimensions Child Nutrition Services Department is to provide balanced, nutritious meals at a minimum cost to all Two Dimensions students and staff. The department provides breakfast and lunch in all schools, for all students.
A. Meal Prices
Meal prices are published each year in all schools. Student's eligible for free meals will be provided with a meal at no charge. Reduced-price students to pay $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch. Student's not eligible for free or reduced meals pay $.90 for breakfast and $1.30 for lunch.
The students will be is notified if they have a balance. A balance is permitted for one day only. The following day, the student must bring enough money to pay the balance and purchase that day's meal (if a meal is taken).
1. Deposits can be made on meal accounts before school in the cafeteria. When placing meal money in a sealed envelope, the following information must be stated:
- Student's name
- Student's teacher name
- Dollar amount enclosed
2. Please make your deposit with cash to your child's school food service administrator. Pre-payment for multiple meals is encouraged to reduce the need for frequent deposits and daily cash handling.
3. Households with more than one child in a school need to designate the amount of money to be placed into each child's meal account. Different children in the same household cannot share an account balance.
4. If you have questions concerning your child's meal account, please contact your child's school food service administrator. If you have any questions or comments about our meal system, please contact the Child Nutrition Services Department at 281-893-1706 for Veterans Campus, 281-987-7300 for Vickery Campus, and 903-872-2988 for Corsicana Campus.
B. Free and Reduced Meals
Free and reduced-price meals are available to students from families who meet established federal income guidelines. Families must complete a new application at the beginning of each school year.
C. Breakfast
Breakfast is essential to the start of the day! Breakfast is served from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. Students should to arrive to school in sufficient time to receive breakfast and consume the food. After 7:45 a.m., breakfast will not be served.
D. Lunch
Student lunches are provided in the cafeteria at the Veterans and Vickery Campus, and in the classroom at the Corsicana Campus. Milk is included in the lunch price. If students desire to purchase to extra milk the cost is $.25. Students are allowed to bring their lunch from home as long as its contents meet the Minimal Nutritional Value Policy.
