• Labels on food boxes, cans and bags
• Signs for familiar restaurants or stores
• Traffic signs
• Logos for favorite toys
Please help your child collect at least 1 example of environmental print from their favorite restaurants, stores, foods or familiar logos for every letter of the alphabet. Some examples might be the fronts of cereal boxes or labels from cans. Please make sure the sample is clean and flat. Please avoid simply printing environmental print from the internet when possible. The environmental print collection can be submitted on a poster board or in a book format (blank book template pdf attached). See example project submissions.
The project is due Friday, April 9, 2021. Virtual Students can take a picture of their project and submit on Google Classroom.

Students will be randomly assigned 1 area(sent in separate email) of Eagle Estates (School, Residential (houses/apartments), Grocery store, Hospital, Police station, Fire station, Park, Shopping center (shoe store, clothing, restaurant, etc.), Library or Post office) to create within or from a shoebox. They can use construction paper, stickers, felt paper, etc. to build their project (see example sheet). They may also include small figurines, cut-outs, pictures and or vehicles.
Students will receive a project sheet to complete. They will also receive an address for their community area. Students should name their area of the community and place it on their diorama or a sign. For example, if they get a school they can name it Apple Academy and place the name on the diorama. They should also place their address numbers on their diorama or sign. So 1234 Apple Academy should appear on their diorama.
Project Requirements
