Hello Eagle Parents,

I would like to start off by wishing everyone good health during this time. I know that no one was truly prepared for this new way of learning but it is our reality. Virtual learning is the future of our students for now. As we navigate through this new virtual classroom please keep in mind that Google Classroom is your virtual assistant and your best friend. We will also be using Class Dojo this school year. All of the information will be emailed to you with in the first week of school August 17 - August 21.

Here is a list of free educational websites that your child can try at home.

Starfall

Starfall is a great educational site for young children learning their ABC's or starting to read. The activities are interactive and simple, and make learning fun. Toddlers can also keep their baby sign language fresh with the sign language lessons offered.

Fisher Price

As one of the leaders in children's products, Fisher Price also provides educational games and activities you and your preschooler can play together online. The site offers alphabet coloring pages, learning animal noises, shapes, numbers, ABCs, and more. Make story time extra special as you read the Little People's stories of Maggie, Sonya Lee, and Eddie to your kids.

Funbrain Jr.

Funbrain Jr., a part of Family Education Network, helps younger kids develop math, early literacy, and problem-solving skills through fun learning games, stories, and printables. The site is designed so parents can sit and explore with their child, or to allow kids to navigate themselves.

ABC Ya

ABCya.com, L.L.C. is a website that provides educational games and activities for school-aged children. The games on the website are organized into grade levels from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade, as well as into subject categories such as letters, numbers, and holidays.

PBSkids.org

PBSKIDS is a website made up of roughly 20 TV and Web-only PBS KIDS shows designed for older preschool and elementary-aged kids. From PBS KIDS kids can navigate directly to a particular show's individual site, where they'll find games, videos, and other related content.
