Superintendent's Letter: Welcome to the 2010-2011 School Year!
Whether you are a new parent or a returning parent of Two Dimensions, we welcome you to a new and exciting school year. The 2009-2010 school year was an exceptional year at Two Dimensions. We made “bricks without straw” this year. We want to give much thanks to Ms. Harris, the Principal’s Assistants and especially to the Teaching Staff that worked so very hard and diligently. Each year our students and staff members amaze and impress us with their successes and accomplishments.
Growth continues to be a part of Two Dimensions and this year we are celebrating twelve years as part of the Texas Education Agency. This year we are an “RECOGNIZED” SCHOOL DISTRICT. We thank our Creator for the strength to be.
As we look forward to greeting more students this fall, we anticipate this as being one of the best years in Two Dimensions’ history. We continue to believe that the most important thing we do as a school district is to hire the best teachers and staff members possible to be with our students each and every day. More than 60 employees will make up the Two Dimensions team this year and all are looking forward to greeting our students!
This fall we will be busy with growth issues, but we assure you that our greatest focus remains on our children’s academic achievement. The district has dedicated a great deal of time and resources to
• making sure that we are strengthening our curriculum, particularly in the areas of math and science and technology;
• making sure we are providing adequate support and resources to our staff and parents, particularly our newest teachers and parents, to ensure their confidence and success;
• making sure we are assessing students quickly as they enter our schools to better meet their individual learning needs.
The biggest key to the overall success of our students and our district, however, is in our ability to work in partnership with our parents and the community. This is why our theme this year is “ASCENDING… TO FULFILL OUR PURPOSE… TODAY FOR TOMORROW”.
We are all LEADERS to our/your child(ren). We vow to perform totally to make sure that your child(ren) receives what he/she needs this year. We make that vow to serve you as Parents also this year. We look forward to working with you this year!
