Step 1: Intent to Return Electronic Form
Parents will receive an Intent to Return Link for each child currently enrolled with Two Dimensions during the spring semester, that must be completed and returned to the designated campus by the due on the form in order for each child to remain on the roster for the new school year.
Step 2: Enrollment*
In order to complete enrollment, parents must visit the campus in person with all of the necessary documents on the scheduled date and time. Parents that do not complete enrollment during the allotted time and have not expressed a desire to do so will forfeit the student’s acceptance so that another parent may have that opportunity to enroll.
Two Dimensions Charter School enrollment packets are for all students enrolling in one of the three campuses. Completing an enrollment packet does not ensure your child will be registered at Two Dimensions.
Print the enrollment packet, fill it out in blue ink, bring the completed enrollment packet and ALL ORIGINAL items listed below to COMPLETE your registration. Attend the days of registration indicated below based on the campus your child was selected for from the lottery:
Returning Student Enrollment Information
- Returning Student Enrollment Packet (Completed in Blue Ink)
- Current Immunization Record (If filing exemption, the Original State Exemption Affidavit is required and will be kept at your child's school, photo copies are not accepted)
- Valid (State Issued) Photo I.D. for Parent/Guardian
- Proof of Residency: light bill, water bill, gas bill dated within the last 30 days of registration (late/disconnect bills are not accepted), lease agreement with parent and student’s name listed or an affidavit required if residing with someone else (Affidavit can be found at Admissions Requirements).
- Proof of Income: All paycheck stubs within last 30 days of registration, last years tax return or other proof of income (current TANF, SSI, or SNAP award letter) required if enrolling PS3 or PK4 student
Eligibility for Prekindergarten
A district is required to offer a preschool and prekindergarten program if they identify 15 or more eligible children. To be eligible, a child must be at least three or four years of age by September 1 of the current school year and meet at least one of the criteria listed below. A district may offer (but not required) a three-year-old program to eligible children and the same criteria would apply. Age is always calculated as of September 1 of the current school year (for the purposes of establishing eligibility).
- Be unable to speak and comprehend the English language
- Be educationally disadvantaged, which means a student eligible to participate in the national free or reduced-price lunch program
- Be homeless, as defined by 42 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 1143a, regardless of the residence of the child, of either parent of the child, or of the child's guardian or other person having lawful control of the child
- Be the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who is ordered to active duty by proper authority;
- Be the child of a member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty;
- Be in, or have been in, the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) following an adversary hearing held as provided by Section 262.201, Family Code;
- Be the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award as a peace officer (3106.002), firefighter (3106.003), or emergency medical first responder (3106.004).
Preschool 3 and Prekindergarten parents are required to complete the Income Verification Form prior to registering your child located on the Admissions/Links page.
Step 3: First Day of School
Finally, the enrollment process is not complete until the child is counted present on the first day of school. Thus, it is imperative that parents ensure that their child arrives to school on time so that he/she can be situated during attendance.
